Founded in 2004, Hamish, the founder of our brand, left New Zealand for the UK and established a local café and restaurant 5 years later. After observing the significant waste generated by his small establishment over 7 years, he decided to shift towards a more eco-friendly approach, giving rise to ecoKiwi. The goal was to offer sustainable alternatives to disposable and plastic-based products. We are excited to announce that starting December 2022, in addition to our commitment of donating 1% of sales to 1% for the Planet, we have teamed up with Carbonfund.org to ensure all our cedar products are now carbon neutral.
